Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
i loaned my daughters ex husband money and he filed bankruptcy and included this loan in his case. Can i still sue him for the money?

It depends on whether his bankruptcy case has finished and the debt discharged. Also, if the bankruptcy case is pending, then you cannot sue him because there is an automatic stay in place. You need to find out what stage the bankruptcy case is in and present your claim to the court if the case is still pending.
