Help with medical bills

I have thousands in medical bills, hospitals and EMS services over several years, tired of collection calls and letters. can I declare bankruptcy, and how do I go about that?

Medical bills and related debts are dischargeable in bankruptcy. Chapter 7 is usually the best way to discharge these bills, unless you have extremely valuable assets, significant equity in your home, or if your budget shows that you can afford a repayment plan.
