Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
Not behind on mortgage, only credit cards
Divorced, quit claim deed from ex to me mortgage payments never late about $12000 credit card debt unable to pay. Income about $1200 month incl. child support tenant & pt job. Will I be able to carry on paying mortgage as I have been? Will I have to sell? Owe $39000 worth about $65000. Will my bankruptcy affect ex in any way? Don't want him to know!

Given the stated equity in the real property, it would appear that you are a likely Chapter 13 candidate. Unless ex is a creditor, you won't need to list him, except as a co-debtor on the mortgage. Hope this helps.
