Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
Hi,
can you please help me with question about Durbin's bill that will make private student loans dischargeable in bankruptcy. I can't find on the internet more about the bill, is it already legal?
I am from Illinois.
Thank you very much.

As far as I know it has not been made into law yet. Currently no student loan debt is dischargeable during bankruptcy. I found an article published about it on nextsudent that was published on May 4th by googling Durbin and student loans in bankruptcy.
