Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
ruptcy attorney said he filed a motion for me to obtain a new vehicle law during my Chapter 13. He told me two weeks ago that the motion was granted and I would receive a letterthin 24-72 hrs. Today, two weeks later, I called the court and they said no motions had been filed on my case. Attorney wont return my call.

Call your attorney again and if he does not return your call then seek out another attorney in your area that can look up your case and see what has been done. In my area, requests like that, to incur debt/purchase a new vehicle-are submitted through the Trustee and may not show up on the Court Docket right away. Give your attorney the chance to explain what has been done.
