Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois

Spouse of 3 years delared bankruptcy prior to marriage to me. Is discharged. How can I protect him from being saught after? (His discharge is 2 years old)
Wea re obviously having problems, divore may be here////I would appreciate a reply as quickly as possible.

I am reading into this that he is now on a whole bunch more of debts, cause of being married to you, and he cannot file chapter 7 bankruptcy, till 6 years have lapsed from his old ch 7 /ANSWER; there is always ch 13 re-organization to align your debts based on what is important, and give you a budget to live on, better to see a ch 13 attorney then live on "Bread and Water "
