Do the laws for filing bankruptcy vary from illinois to wisconsin? Does it matter where you file?

Each federal district has its own unique local rules
which control bankruptcy filings. Additionally, WI
and ILL each have unique exemptions setting forth the
property items one is allowed to keep as necessities.
Finally, you must file in the jurisdiction where you
have resided for the majority of the last six months.
