Are steudent loans dischargeable under bankruptcy?

Not ordinarily
Years ago one could receive a discharge on studentloans rahter easily. The law has significantly tightened in reent years. The courts will grant a hardship discharge only if you have no way whatsoever of earning an income. You would almost ahve to be in a coma or totally incapacitated to receive a discharge on student loans.
