Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Illinois
What if you are unable to pay the amount the lawyers are asking you and you can't afford to pay your expenses at home , like phone lights and gas and you tell the lawyer your income has chaged , arent they suppose to help you so this wont happen . Can you chage your lawyer and find someone who will help.

I would suggest that you speak to the lawyer you have and ask for more specific information first before you try to hire another. If you are speaking about Chapter 13 payments many times there is a very precise reason the payment is a certain amount. The attorney has no control over what that number is. If you cannot afford a Plan payment then you should speak to your lawyer about other options.
