Victim of identity theft by a family member

My live-in girlfriend filed banckruptcy on a credit card she signed my signature without my knowledge, the credit card co. and I have gone back and forth over who's responsible they want me to file fraud against her or they will come after me. As much as I want to Iwiil not take that route. Are thre any other courses of actions I can take?

Your options are limited. Because she has filed for bankruptcy you are limited to a few options. First, you can file a claim of fraud against your girlfriend. Second, if the deadline has not passed you can file an action in the bankruptcy court to hold her liable for the debt in spite of the bankruptcy. The only other options are to try and fight the credit card company to be absolved of this debt.

Your girlfriend has unfortunately created a great deal of problems for you.
