Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I was asked by my boss to stay overnight at my place of employment to ensure the guest's needs would be taken care of. I have done 6 overnight stays total. Several months ago a fellow coworker told me that we get paid for overnight stays. A few days later i approached my boss and asked about being compensated for my stays and he said that employees are not compensated for stays. Just recently a fellow coworker stayed for two nights and was compensated? Obviously there is a lack of business ethics but what should i do?
