Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I bartered for our nonprofit to get auto repairs in trade for a website. The repair shop provided me with a receipt for the repairs and 1. Included the cost for something they didn't fix and 2. Included a charge for taking photos of their shop to be placed on the website. I pretty much know to disregard number 1, but my question is can they actually charge for labor to take photos for their own site?

If it wasn't part of the deal it wasn't part of the deal. If the total deal is NOT in writing and if they say it was an understanding, however, and the charge is otherwise reasonable, how much are you risking by refusing?
