Bonus monies earned in 2006
My question is...if I leave my present employer prior to me receiving my earned bonus check from 2006 am I entitled to that money if I leave in good standing?

Under the Illinois Wage Payment and Collection Act, you are entitled to any "earned bonuses."
The question, of course, is whether the bonus was really "earned." Sometimes the employee thinks that the bonus was earned but it turns out that the bonus was clearly discretionary and that there was no legal obligation on the employer to make the payment, whether or not separation occurred.
