Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I've breached contract for non-payment and can no longer afford to pay.
I am in the middle of an online database search contract, obligated to pay a monthly fee for (12) months. I have made 50% of payments, but my business is so crippled I cannot possibly afford to pay the remainder. The vendor has turned off my passwords, and I am unable to use the site.
I accept that I am at fault. Do I have any way out? (Bankruptcy is not an option.) Thank you.

Without seeing the written agreement, a complete answer cane not be given, perhaps you can explain the situation to the vendor and see if the vendor will accept a partial buyout. Good luck.
