Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
Breeder Contracts
I sold a pup with the guarantee if there were heredity defects that we would replace the pup. I signed contract and sent to buyer they never did sign and return it. Now they want us to pay for vet bills for a condition of the pup and I would like to know if the contract is still valid? If in the contract I offered to replace her is that all I have to do? The buyer has had the pup more than 1mo.

Re: Breeder Contracts
Probably there is an oral contract even if your buyer did not sign the contract. I am assuming that you accepted payment, is that correct? If you took the money and it has only been a month or two, you are probably going to have to replace the pup.
