Business licence

I am interested in represnting a telephone company as thier agent and I am thinking of doing this from home Do I need a licence or registration and Do I need to form a company name or a corporation to do this kind of business.I just want to start as a very small venture What are the tax implications? Please advise me. Thank you very much.

In order to properly advise you I need to know additional information. The main business structures that are available to you are sole proprietorship and corporation. Each has its own tax implications.

As to whether you need a license, you need to know even if you can operate a business out of your home. This may depend on zoning restrictions and homeowners association restrictions.
