Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
Business Reimbursements
My husband was let go in March and submitted all of his expenses within a week of his termination date. Of the the $5000+ submitted, they've only reimbursed $2000 so far. They asked for further documentation on the remaining balance, which he submitted immediately, but they still have not sent the check for the rest of the expenses. They required him to open a Diner's Club card, in his name, for all business expenses, and because of their delay in paying, we are now being charged for 2 months of delinquency on the $3000+ balance, and our credit rating is suffering. What recourse do we have?
