Buyout agreement
How many times can a case be continued for the person or counsel not showing up to court. (They live in Ar.) The case is in Cook County,IL

That depends on the whim of the judge. Do you know for sure that the defendant was served with the complaint? If so, next time you're up, point out to the court that Defendant was served on ____ (date), that it has been more than 30 days and he/she has not yet appeared, and that the matter has already been continued ___ (number of) times, then respectfuly request the court enter a default judgment against Defendant.
