Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
Car Settlement Offer
I received a letter from my lender offering to settle my car loan for 50% of the original outstanding balance if I paid this amount within 10 days of the date of the letter. Is this a binding agreement if I sent in the 50% by the due date or can they take the money and still come after me for the remaining balance?

Re: Car Settlement Offer
Depends on what exactly the letter says. It might be wise to have an attorney review the letter.
