Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
commercial contract breach
Signed a lease contract on May 1, on June 16, received a letter stating I can not be at the premise. Up until that date there was a previous tenant in my space. A letter was sent to the owner to complete build out and have it ready. They are now classifying my business incorrectly due to a current tenant not wanting me in the plaza and I can no longer be there. I have lost a lot of money, advertising and time. What am I entitled to because the owner breached contract.

You really should find a lawyer and discuss this with him or her. You have not provided sufficient information to make a proper assessment of your claim.
