Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
We are contractors providing siding, windows, and roofing. I discovered there is a company which provides the same services in the same area and they are using a name VERY similar to our companies name. When someone asks one of our customer's who did their work, they will say "....." did the job. When the customer looks for "....." They will find the other company. They are getting our referrals and business on our reputation. Is there anything we can do? Note: We have been in business about 30 years longer than this newer company using a version of our name.

You can seek to enforce the infringement of your rights by suing the other company.
