Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
Getting out of contracts
how can you legally get out of a contract with a uniform contract, without having to buy your way out? Tried the certified letter, complaint of service, etc. Now they have us in court.

Re: Getting out of contracts
The best way to get yourself out of a contract is to find yourself a clever lawyer that knows how to use the terms against the other side. Find someone to help you with this, it's not an easy thing to pull off on your own.
Re: Getting out of contracts
The whole point of having a contract is that it's binding on the parties.
Unless the contract has specific termination provisions, or the other side has breached their obligations in a material way, you're likely to be stuck.
If they've got you in court, you need a lawyer's advice. You should show the contract and discuss the whole situation with someone you've hired to research the issues and advise you accordingly.
