Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
My daughter was recently married.....the event planner did not do what she said or put on the contract. ex. table linen ($30 a table) was white instead of ivory; the sweet table ($500) was set with items from Sam's Club instead of coming from a bakery. The cake was "god awful ugly", it was falling apart. We met with the planner at least five times. We discussed in everything in detail over and over again! I have it in writing. She didn't show up for the wedding, she sent her assistant. The wedding is over. What is my recourse???She will not anwser my phone calls. I paid $6000 for her services and the items I mentioned above were less than satisfactory. Again, what can be done about this?
