debt recovery
I'm some research and I'm stuck. If I default on payment due for a service such as a company that builds a pool in my backyard, the pool company can
a. create an attachment of the property
b. create a mechanic's lien on the property
PLEASE HELP!

I do not know what you mean by attachment, but the contractor can certainly file a mechanics lien against your property if you do not pay him. He must do so timely and in accordance with the mechanics lien law.
