Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
ex-employer owes me money
My ex-employer has been neglecting to pay me money owed. He owes me $200. It has been over one month's time since the pay period I worked in past. How do I collect? Can I collect interest?

You can either contact the Wage and Hour Division, or hire an attorney to assist you. In many unpaid wage cases, the employer is responsible for court costs and attorneys fees. And it can be pretty satisfying to watch him squirm in court when he tries to justify not paying you.
