Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I'm fifteen years old and aspiring entrepreneur of my own line own children hats, I want to register my business as sole proprietor, however, my state (Illinois)doesn't know how to deal with this issue. Do I need to register as a partnership, do any guardians need to sign documents, etc. its been really frustrating and I really want to register this this business in the most efficient and thorough manner possible.

Since you are not old enough to sign contracts, a parent or guardian would need to do so on your behalf.
The other attorney is right on point here. You might consider setting up a corporation that you own (shareholder) and having your parents, etc. become officers who can then enter into legally binding contracts, etc. Consult with an attorney in your area for specifics.
