Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I have to file suit against my previous business landlord for return of my security deposit. the amount is $9500 just below the limit for small claims court. as the president of my corp, am i able to bring suit against the other myself or do i have to have an attorney?

For better or for worse, corporations can not represent themselves in Illinois courts; they must have legal counsel.
