Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I am forming a General Partnership for a business with a women who is married and going through a divorce. I too am going through a divorce. We do not want the soon-to-be ex spouses to attach to any assets of the newly formed business of ours. How can we do this legally? Should we form a LLC or Corporation instead to do this?
Thank you for you help.

You should consult with your individual divorce attorneys as this is not really a business question but more an issue of family law.
