Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
OK! I have a friend who was doing new construction cleanup for a builder and she had just started her business so she didn't have insurance and was asked if she did. Now the client had bamboo flooring for the dining room and great room. There was adhesive, paint, juice, and etc. on the flooring when the company came in to clean. Know that the company has come in to clean, the owner is trying to say that the cleaning company damaged the total floor and they want them to replace it. Eventhough the owners themselves have used different products on the floor. The owners have been in the house for almost two months now and now want to sue.

Any attorney will tell you these types of cases are very fact dependent, so a review of all contracts, correspondence, etc. is necessary. Were the pre-exisitng conditions documented? And if so, how? Consult with a good business attorney in your area for specific advice.
