Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
A former friend and I decided to go into a daycare business together. She purchased a house and I supplied the materials to get the home to pass inspection. However, after a fallout, she wants to evict me off the premise. Do I qualify as a tenant in common if my name is on the deed or mortgage paperwork and can she evict me since I moved there due to us being in business together?

This is really a real estate question. If you are on the deed, you are an owner and she cannot evict you.
