Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I am a grocery store manager and pay is based on store volume. When I was moved to a higher volume store I was told I must work in the store a year before receiving the raise. Recently other managers were moved and received immediate raises. Is this discrimination or a violation of any other law?

It may be discrimination, but it is only illegal if it is based on your membership in a protected class such as your race, national origin, gender, etc.
