Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

home based business

I make homemade hand lotions, lip balms etc. and would like to sell them to the general public. I have searched for what licenses and such that I need, but want to make sure I am doing this 100% legally. Any advide would be very welcome. Thank you

That is a pretty broad question. I recommend finding an attorney that can go through the regulations needed and someone who can give you a legal opinion to keep your company protected.
