Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
Our homeowner association used to post minutes and monthly budget reports on our web site. Since the new board took over nothing has been posted for nearly 8 months now.
1. How do I as a homeowner of the association request minutes & budget reports?
2. How long do I have to wait to receive them?
3. What if they don't exist?
Thanks

Look at your by laws and decalrations to determine whether there is a procedure for requesting these items and what the parameters are for receiving them. If they do not exist, there should be a mechanism for unseating the board. Your best bet is to see a local lawyer
