Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
hours were going to be cut at my job. 2 weeks ago our manager told 3 of us "not to worry we would be fine. He had a plan" I was cut from 40 hours to 30. The other 2 were cut 20 hours per week. What can I do?

Assuming you are not subject to an employment contract or collective bargaining agreement, perhaps not much. You might be able to obtain unemployment benefits for the difference between your previous and current hours.
