Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois

Is it illegal to have a no-return/no-exchanges policy? I run a store in Cook County, IL and although we make it incredibly clear that all sales are final, people constantly think we are legally obligated to either return their money or provide them with store credit if they get home and second guess their purchase. I would like to know what, if anything, the law says about return policies in Illinios so I can properly handle these situations.

Return policies have become so commonplace that people have begun believing they have a right to return anything they buy. There is no such right or law. There is a three day right to cancel a sale made at the purchaser's home, or a refinance of an individual's residence. The only reason most stores have these policies is for customer relations.
