Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
Incorporation structure
I really want to keep my interest in a company hidden. I currently have a limited liability partnership set up and a friend of mine has his own corporation. If we create another company where my partnership owns 80% of the new company and I act as a silent investor does this accomplish my goal? Is there a better way to do this?

Re: Incorporation structure
What you can do depends on how much you want to spend, and from whom and why you are "hiding."
