I'm a sole proprietor; 3rd party personnel recruiter matching potential employees with employer's open job positions. I have no employees and work out of my home. Do I need General Liability & Professional Liability insurance?

Re: Insurance Needs
If you are in business, it is a good idea to have insurance. It is not required, so you do not "need" it. It is simply a matter of assessing the cost versus the risk.

Yes. You have exposure. For example if you did not do a background check, recomended someone who had a criminal background, who then committed a related crime, there could be a problem for you.
