Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
Interference with construction
Our condo assoc is getting some work done in the common areas. One of the condo owners harassed the workers to the point that they left the site. They are billing the assoc for a full days work; we want to get the job completed. Is there some kind of restraining order we might be able to get to keep him from interfering with the workers when they return? Can we pursue repayment of the money he cost us in small claims court? It was about $1000.

Re: Interference with construction
You need to give more details than "harrased". Regardless, you may be able to convince the contractor to finish the job. Does the contract allow for him to leave the job before it is completed?
