Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
legal representation
I am in a case right now as a defendant and counter-plaintiff in the Federal District Court in Chicago. A corporation, in which am president, is also a defendant. I have a legal eductation, but I'm not a lawyer. Can I represent the corporation and myself pro se, at lease in the preliminary stages, and use a law firm for advice?

Re: legal representation
You may not represent the corporation even in the preliminary proceedings even if you are getting legal advice from a lawyer.
