When writing out a buisiness plan, what is meant by ''legal structure of the business''?

Generally, "structure" relates to whether the business is a corporation, partnership, limited liability partnership, or sole proprietorship. "Structure" can also relate to how the assets, liability, and ownership of the business are arranged.
