Medical reimbursement funds
We had signed up for pretax fund late in the year -end of November. In January they took out $1,000 for the previous year 2005 and a payment for 2006. Then monthly for 2006. The 2005 claims were all denied because we didn't spend the money in December. We thought it covered all of 2005-they say no. They reimbursed 2006 money. Now they say too bad, the $1,000 is gone.

They are right. You have to carefully follow these plans. Think of it as a $1000 lesson.
