Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
Overdraft fees
My bank charged me overdraft fees for charges that were not yet posted to my account. They said the charges are for items that were on hold but had not yet posted to the account; however, my account physically held a positive balance the entire time. The bank never physically paid out any revenue on my behalf but now I owe them $300+ in fees. Is this legal; Can I sue for my funds back and should I close my account with them before or after I sue?

Re: Overdraft fees
I would sue them. You should expect a large recovery.
