Can I use previous client's names without permission?
I am creating a site for our marketing
company. We have had limited work
with some big brands such as
Bacardi, Absolute, Jager, MTV
Networks, HBO Networks, and artist's
like R. Kelly & Danity Kane.
Am I able to put a list of our past
clients up on our site without their
permission?

I would not recommend it. Why not try asking permission? I cannot believe they would say no, assuming you did a good job for them, since it would be additional publicity for them.
