Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I have been rejected for a job position due to alleged resume misrepresentation. I used the companies resume builder and a question on there was did you graduate from the university you attended, i mark NO. They say their view does not show this and it is my fault I did not state this in the comments section of their resume builder. Is there any legal action I could take?

If you can't print out a version of the information to show them, you have no proof, and they have no obligation to you unless there is something illegal in the hiring process, such as racial discrimination, and that also could be extremely difficult to prove. If you're adamant you could try the EEOC, but without proof of some unlawful behavior, this is going to go nowhere fast.
