Sales Expense Reimbursement
* I reside in the state of Illinois
* Working for a corporation located in Indiana
* Status: commission only sales with expenses reimbursed
* All agreements and communications were verbal
* What recourse do I have in the event that expenses submitted as per the company expense forms and guidelines are not reimbursed since all communications were verbal.
* I do have one email from the Corporate CFO indicating that expenses submitted would be paid.

Depending on the amount involved, you might want to consider small claims court. If that isn't feasible, I can provide a referral to a local attorney(s).

Sue the company, or walk away. If the judge or jury believes the company verbally agreed to pay your expenses, you will likely win. If the judge or jury does not believe the company agreed to pay your expenses, you will likely lose.
