Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
can I sue my power company
the power company gave us a bogus bill and we're disputing this. The commerce commision says they'll help but no one's helping us at all. What are the possibilities of hiring a lawyer and suing our power company? We can't seem to get a hearing to fight this on our own.

Re: can I sue my power company
Your facts are very sketchy - it is unlcear what you mean by a "bogus bill" and you don't mention the amount in dispute. Unless the amount disputed is substantial, I doubt that it would be worth the expense of hiring an attorney.
