Title Insurance Company State of Illinois
What are the requirements for owning a Title Insurance Company in the state of Illinois? Must you be an attorney to own the company or run a satellite office for an attorney in another state?

To the best of my knowledge, you do not need to be an attorney to own a Title INsurance Company in Illinois. contact the Illinois Department of Insurance for particulars of theiur requirements.
