trademark or servicemark
if put my company name on the tag inside a t shirt is that a service mark or trademark?

It depends. In a nutshell, are you providing a good or a service? Trademarks generally are used to identify the company providing the good, whereas service marks identify the company providing a service. If your company does not make the shirts, only provides some kind of service on them (such as screen printing), then you'd want to go with a service mark.
