Trademarks
My wife and I have two companies, we want to trademark our two company names. Is it posible to trademark one main name to cover both companies. How can we do this?
PLEASE HELP!!

Assuming the names in question are used - or will be used - in connection with a product or service, and pending the results of a comprehensive trademark search to ensure the names are not already registered or in use in your type(s) of goods/services, most likely yes.
It's not clear to me why one name would be associated with two companies; you should discuss this situation with the trademark attorney you retain to perform a comprehensive TM search and register the mark(s) for you.
