Legal Question in Business Law in Illinois
I am wondering if I have any recourse against my former employer for being terminated. I was terminated because another employee told the manager that I threatened another employee. This conversation took place after hours and not on company equipment

Unless you are covered by an employment contract or collective bargaining agreement, you can be fired for any reason, or for no reason at all, provided there was no unlawful discrimination.
